Underweight and/or Not Eating Well
This section offers treats and diets to help entice our dogs back to eating are are ideal for:
1. Dogs that are NOT interested in eating their prescribed therapeutic diet: The first thing we always recommend is checking in with your veterinarian to see if there’s an underlying medical reason for a finicky appetite. But, what about when you know your pet has a medical issue and has been prescribed a therapeutic diet to help manage the medical condition and your cat won’t eat it? These treats and foods can be used temporarily to "dress-up" the therapeutic diet and aid in slowly transition them to eat their prescribed diet.
2. Dogs that have NOT been diagnosed with a medical condition and seem underweight: These treats and diets provide palatability to coax a pet to feel more comfortable eating in a novel environment or just helping him/her add more calories to achieve a higher body condition score.
